Why Buy From Sexton Ford

Sexton Ford, originally owned by Bill Sexton, was in downtown Moline. In the late 1960's Al Pellegrini moved to the Quad-Cities and took over Sexton Ford. In 1971, Al moved the dealership to 3802 16th St., Moline.

It was Al Pellegrini's idea to develop the South Park area as an auto plaza, with competing new-car dealers doing business next door to each other. Mr. Pellegrini bought swamp land, now known as the South Park Auto Plaza, which currently has 5 dealerships.

Mr. Pellegrini had visions of his sons being part of the dealership, and in 1980, his vision became reality. Randy became the new owner of Sexton Ford, later joined by his brother Gary.

Randy Pellegrini passed away in 2021 but his legacy continues at Sexton Ford. Randy's love for his family was unmatched, but he treated everyone he met as if they were family.  The more the merrier was Randy's moto and if you were lucky enough to be in his presence, you were guaranteed a great time, hilarious stories, and a true friendship.  Randy lived life to the fullest and his positive attitude, zest for life and belly laughs were infectious. Randy's son, Vince Pellegrini, is currently operating Sexton Ford and will be here to help our customers for the next 30 years. 

Sexton stays on top of the car industries changing times. Their Service and Parts departments, along with their Body Shop are second to none. They employ close to 50 employees in their parts and service areas. Their dealership is staffed by professionals who do continual training on Ford vehicles and are authorized to service Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. The service department services up to 150 cars/trucks daily. Sexton also sells lots of parts to local dealerships and body shops.

The secret to Sexton's success is their family atmosphere because of their long-time employees. Many have been with Sexton for over 30 years. We treat everyone like family and will do our best to earn your business!
