2018 Ford RS Inspires Fans By Taking Inspiration From Fans

Ford has announced plans to introduce a new generation Ford Focus for the 2019 model year. That means models based upon the current Focus—like the Focus RS—will be no more. At least in their current forms.

But the Focus RS isn’t going out without a bang, and that bang is the 2018 Focus RS Limited Edition.

These final 1,500 vehicles are enthusiasts’ last chance to drive away in the current-generation RS, and they look spectacular. Ford elevated the Focus RS to the next level for this limited edition by taking inspiration directly from the fans. One individual posted a Photoshop rendering of the Focus RS in red to a forum, and other forum members responded to say how good it looked. If only they made the RS in red!

Your wish is Ford’s command.

Among the new features for the 2018 Focus RS Limited Edition are:

  • Available Race Red body color
  • Black roof
  • Black mirror caps and spoiler
  • Black painted 19-inch wheels with blue RS logo
  • Carbon fiber-wrapped handbrake lever, door handles, turbo-boost gauge
  • Mechanical Quaife® limited-slip differential
