There’s no use in sugarcoating, so we’ll just come right out and say it: we at Sexton Ford consider our chameleonic crossover, the 2015 Ford Flex, one of the most compelling choices throughout the very large — and competitive — SUV class.

And why, pray tell, does this transport bring to the table? With insight to that query is our friend, Jabari Jones, of Autotrader fame. Get his take on the matter right here:

Two distinctive drivetrains comprise the Flex lineup. The first, a 3.5-liter V6, delivers a healthy 287 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque. Standard fare includes a six-speed automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive.

The other, a turbo 3.5-liter V6 — known as EcoBoost — pushes out a very plenteous 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The six-speed automatic is again included, though an all-wheel platform replaces the front-wheel. It’s an excellent option for those who require a more robust ride.

If you’d like to learn more about this sensational SUV, or wish to get behind the wheel of one, we encourage you to drop by our Moline, IL dealership. Our automotive experts are at the ready to answer your every question about the Flex, or any other Ford model within the present portfolio.
